Law School Revision Survival Guide
It won’t be a surprise for any of you to know that I am back in the revision zone. After 2 years of GCSE’s, 2 years of A-Levels and 3 years of an undergraduate degree, I’ve become a bit of a revision expert. In fact at my secondary school I taught revision seminars on top tips for memorising facts and information. This post will be a little bit different though...rather than banging on about pneumonics, colour coding your notes and consolidation, I’ll be sharing with you my top tips for eating, drinking and exercising during your revision period.

Review: Adobo, Holborn
Adobo – visited once a week for the last two months…

Today I’m bringing you another review from the Holborn area. When you’re as busy as me, you want something quick, easy and hopefully healthy to fill you up while you’re on the go, and the place I keep going back to: Adobo.
Now, let’s be honest, the name Adobo doesn’t give much away. In my first few weeks of Law School I had clocked its small doorway with its bright colours and cool artwork on the sandwich board outside, but I think I can be forgiven for not knowing EXACTLY what they offered. One day I was brave enough to go inside, it was noisy, rammed full of people, but smelt AMAZING.
Fortunately for me, the large queue gave me time to work out what they did. To sum up imagine subway…but with Burritos!

Chocolate Chip Shortbread
Right, if you haven’t notice I’ve been rather busy of late! Law school is in full flow and I’m trying to keep down a job at the same time, as well as having a thriving social life. Oh yeah, I’m so cool I have a thriving social life! I think I’m actually going out even more than I did at uni; between hanging out with my boyfriend (yay no more long distance) being close to university friends, new friends and old friends, as well as all of Jon’s work friends, we have more than enough play dates to keep us occupied.
Nevertheless I HAVE still been cooking! It’s just taken me a little while to find the time to share the recipes with you.
But, as I’ve been super busy at law school, I thought it was appropriate to share one of my more student friendly recipes – Chocolate Shortbread. Super cheap it only requires 4 ingredients – 3 if you don’t fancy going all out and adding in the chocolate!

Brie and Tomato Home-made Gourmet Paninis!
The University of Nottingham's Library Cafe sells hot panini's for just under £3...thats right £3!!! What student in their right mind has £3 to spend on lunch?! Thats's before even factoring in a drink!
That's why...I decided to invest in my own panini baguettes.
My boyfriend's sister's husband...(I may eventually be able to say brother in law?), as far as I am concerned is the panini king, and he inspired me to start making my own (Thanks Russ :D)
So, I nipped to the shops this weekend to stock up on ingredients so that I could eat gourmet sandwhiches allonsgide all the rich students in the library knowing that my panini cost half the price!
One of these delicious sandwhiches will set you back just 93p!
